UFF-FSU represents FSU School Faculty.
UFF negotiators and UFF faculty representatives have negotiated important provisions in the Collective Bargaining Agreement:
- A salary step schedule was established after years of no salary increases. These salary steps have been preserved every year through negotiations, even during economic downturns.
- Teachers may apply for continuing contract status at the end of their third year at FSUS by preparing a portfolio.
- Teachers may increase their salaries by seeking promotion through a peer review process after five years at FSUS.
In the face of continued assaults from the Florida legislature, your UFF representatives are fighting to protect teachers’ rights to a fair salary, job security, recognition of advanced degrees, and valid evaluations. Membership is more important than ever to support UFF’s legal challenges to these violations of our constitutional rights and to send a strong message to the FSUS administration.
